Moshe Feiglin to Discuss Union Talks with Smotrich on Channel 14

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, is scheduled for a special interview on the "HaPatriotim" (The Patriots) program on Channel 14 tonight at 9:00 PM. The interview comes amid advanced negotiations for a potential merger between Zehut and Bezalel Smotrich's Religious Zionism party.

Feiglin is expected to address the remaining obstacles to the union agreement, the structure of the unified list, and the likelihood of its finalization. The negotiations are at a critical juncture, with significant progress reported following a late-night meeting in Karnei Shomron. A key development is a potential agreement for Feiglin to take the second spot on the unified list.

However, disagreements persist regarding other placements on the list. Feiglin is pushing for additional spots for his associates, while a major point of contention is the position of former Knesset member Michael Ben-Ari. Smotrich wants to secure a high spot for Ben-Ari, but Feiglin prefers to place one of his own candidates ahead of him.
