Prominent Kabbalist's Widow, Rebbetzin Chana Mintzberg, Passes Away at 78

Rebbetzin Chana Mintzberg, widow of the renowned Kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Baruch Mintzberg, has passed away in Jerusalem at the age of 78. She was known for her piety, good deeds, and dedication to Torah study and observance.

Born in Jerusalem in 1948, Rebbetzin Mintzberg was the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Yechezkel Acker, a prominent scholar. She married Rabbi Yaakov Baruch Mintzberg, a leading figure in the "Beit Yehuda" Ashlag community in Jerusalem, who was known for his deep knowledge of Kabbalah and his devotion to God.

Throughout their marriage, Rebbetzin Mintzberg was a devoted partner to her husband, supporting his intensive Torah study and his work disseminating Kabbalistic teachings. She is remembered by those who knew her as a model of modesty, humility, and profound love for Torah. She was also known for her discreet acts of charity and her fervent prayers for the public and individuals.

Together with her husband, she established a "faithful home to God and His Torah" and raised a large and blessed family, with many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who follow in the path of Torah and piety. Her husband passed away four years ago, and since then, she continued to live with faith and righteousness, influencing those around her with her spirit and good character.

Her funeral procession departed on Monday, September 1st, 2024, at 11:15 AM from the Shagar Funeral Home in Jerusalem, proceeding to Har HaMenuchot cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.
