Protesters Mark Two Years Since Return of Hostages' Bodies
Activists from the "Women's Protest" movement demonstrated outside the Prime Minister's residence in Jerusalem, marking two years since the bodies of six hostages murdered in Hamas captivity were returned. The hostages identified were Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alex Lubnov, Almog Sarusi, and Ori Danino.
A banner displayed at the protest read, "We will not forget, they could have returned alive." The activists stated that the Prime Minister and his aides have been "engaged in cover-ups and lies since October 7th." They accused the Prime Minister of rejecting deals that could have brought hostages home while they were fighting for their lives.
The protesters also asserted that a state that has not investigated the October 7th failures and taken responsibility cannot guarantee it will prevent future disasters.
