Protesters Rally Outside Israeli Ministers' Homes on 1,000 Days Since October 7 Massacre
On the 1,000th day since the October 7 massacre, protesters gathered outside the homes of coalition members, including Education Minister Yoav Kish in Hod Hasharon and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana. Hila Shay, mother of Staff Sergeant Yaron Shay who fell in the battle of Kerem Shalom on October 7, led the protest outside Kish's residence. Several dozen demonstrators also assembled outside Ohana's home, where they criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent remarks in a Channel 14 interview. When asked what had changed since October 7, Netanyahu responded, "I lost a little weight." Protesters condemned his comment, calling him a "psychopathic leader" and accusing him of showing zero responsibility, management, or leadership since the tragedy.
