Danny Algrit Says Only Bodies Returned, Not All Hostages From Hamas Captivity

Danny Algrit, brother of Itzik Algrit who was killed in Hamas captivity and whose body was returned, spoke at a demonstration marking 1,000 days since October 7. The event took place outside the Kirya military base in Tel Aviv. He expressed frustration over repeated claims that "the hostages have returned," emphasizing that not all hostages came back alive. Algrit stated, "Those who survived returned. Those who were kidnapped alive, abandoned in captivity, murdered, and returned in a coffin did not return." He insisted that his brother Itzik was kidnapped alive and could have survived but was left to die. "What came back to us was not my brother, but a body, and no one will obscure this truth," he declared.
