Hasidic musician Yoel Yosha Weiss has released a new spiritual single titled 'Hazkiru Lifanav' (Mention Before Him), coinciding with his son's Bar Mitzvah. The song is described as a deep and moving spiritual creation born from family joy and longing for the High Holy Days. The melody was composed by Mordechai Yoel Friedman, who also performs a brief, emotional duet with Weiss on the track, adding a unique emotional depth.

The single is based on the words of the prayer 'Machnisei Rachamim' from the Selichot service, a plea for divine mercy. The lyrics, beginning with 'Hazkiru Lifanav, Hashmiu Lifanav' (Mention Before Him, Make Him Hear Before Him), call for heavenly mercy to open the gates of divine favor. The song's central message emphasizes remembering not only the merits of the ancestors but also the Torah study and good deeds of the past year, in prayer for a sweet new year.

At a peak moment, the lyrics 'Vichiye Zaram, Shelo Ta'avod Sherit Yaakov' (And may their seed live, may the remnant of Jacob not be lost) transform into a sweeping Hasidic anthem of eternity and a plea for life for future generations.
