Ajax Open to Selling Israeli Star Oscar Gloukh If Good Offer Arrives

Oscar Gloukh, the Israeli attacking midfielder, started the current season strongly with four goals in his first two games for Ajax. However, following several new signings in Ajax's attacking midfield, the Dutch club appears willing to consider offers for Gloukh. In recent matches, Gloukh has struggled to make a significant impact, while Ajax has added Julian Brandt and Viktor Tsygankov and given considerable playing time to 17-year-old Abdallah Ouzana.

Mike Verweij, a senior Dutch football journalist, commented on the situation during the KICK-OFF podcast. He noted that Brandt has been performing well in the attacking midfield role and suggested that Ajax would be open to selling Gloukh if a good offer comes in. However, Verweij also mentioned that such a transfer is not currently imminent because Gloukh's recent form has been underwhelming.

Gloukh had an impressive debut season at Ajax, scoring nine goals across all competitions, including three in the Champions League, and providing seven assists in 39 appearances. He also scored four goals in the Conference League qualifiers this season. The club's recent acquisitions and the emergence of young talent have increased competition for Gloukh's position, prompting Ajax to potentially consider his sale.
