Ajax Open to Selling Israeli Star Oscar Gloukh If Good Offer Arrives

Oscar Gloukh, the Israeli attacking midfielder for Dutch club Ajax, may be sold if the club receives a strong transfer offer. Gloukh started the current season impressively, scoring four goals in his first two games, but has struggled in his last five appearances. Ajax has recently strengthened their attacking midfield by signing Julian Brandt and Viktor Tsygankov, while also promoting 17-year-old Abdallah Ouzana, increasing competition for Gloukh's position.

Dutch journalist Mike Verweij, speaking on the KICK-OFF podcast, noted that Brandt is performing well in the attacking midfield role and suggested that Ajax would consider selling Gloukh if a good offer comes in. However, he added that such a sale is not imminent as Gloukh's recent form has been underwhelming.

Gloukh concluded his debut season at Ajax with nine goals, including three in the Champions League, and seven assists across 39 appearances. He also began this season strongly by scoring four goals in the Conference League qualifiers. The club's recent acquisitions and the young talent's emergence have created a crowded midfield, prompting Ajax to be open to transfer discussions regarding Gloukh.
