Israeli Forces Rescue Jewish Teen Held in West Bank Village

Israeli military forces successfully rescued a Jewish teenage girl who was held captive in the West Bank village of Deir Ballut on Friday. The girl, who was married to a local Arab resident, had attempted to escape from the house where she was confined by her husband. Upon learning of her escape attempt, the husband prevented her from leaving, prompting the Israeli army to intervene due to concerns for her safety.

The military declared a "red alert" procedure and deployed special forces to the village, located just a few hundred meters from the Jewish settlements of Peduel and Eli Zahav. After approximately an hour and a half of tense operations, the soldiers broke into the house and safely extracted the girl, who was unharmed. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the incident, and the girl was transferred to receive medical and security care.

This operation highlights the ongoing security challenges in the West Bank, particularly regarding the safety of Jewish residents in proximity to hostile villages. The Israeli army continues to maintain a presence in the area to prevent similar incidents and ensure the protection of civilians.
