Sa'ar Padida Signs with M.S. Ashdod Ahead of New Season
Sa'ar Padida, a 29-year-old midfielder, officially signed with M.S. Ashdod on August 27, 2026, for one season with an option for an additional year. Padida, who played last season for Hapoel Haifa and Maccabi Bnei Reineh, will compete in the Israeli National League for the first time since 2019. His previous experience in the National League dates back to a loan spell at Hapoel Rishon LeZion from Hapoel Haifa.
Padida also had a brief stint abroad with Olimpija Ljubljana during the 2023/24 season, where he scored three goals in 34 appearances. He spent the majority of his career at Hapoel Haifa, appearing in 110 matches, scoring three goals, and providing five assists. His move to M.S. Ashdod marks a new chapter as he steps into the National League after several years in the Premier League and overseas.
