Teen Attacks Man in Kiryat Gat After Being Reprimanded for Dangerous Crossing

A 16-year-old boy in Kiryat Gat violently assaulted a 60-year-old man after the man criticized him and his friends for crossing the street dangerously. The incident, which was captured on video, occurred when the man confronted the teenagers about their unsafe behavior. Following a verbal exchange, the teenager attacked the man in public, leaving him injured. The victim returned home with injuries, collapsed on the stairs, and later required medical treatment, according to his wife.

Police officers from the Kiryat Gat station, led by Chief Sergeant Shira Rog, arrested the teenager. After completing the investigation, prosecutors filed charges against him. This case highlights a troubling rise in violent incidents involving young teenagers in recent years.
