Motty Steinmetz Performs Emotionally at Omer Adam's Wedding in Italy

Israeli singer Omer Adam married Sasha Israelovitch in an exclusive ceremony held on Wednesday in Portofino, Italy. The wedding took place at a unique 14th-century Christian monastery converted into a luxury event venue. The chuppah ceremony was officiated by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Hazan, Chabad emissary in Milan, and Rabbi Mendy Gurevich, Chabad emissary in Mishmar HaShiv'a, who accompanied the couple throughout the ceremony.

Hasidic singer Motty Steinmetz performed a moving song during the chuppah. Adam and Steinmetz have a prior acquaintance, and Adam is a fan of Steinmetz's singing. Steinmetz's participation was contingent on the ceremony being conducted with gender separation between men and women, a condition stipulated in his contract and known to those who hire him. Accordingly, the wedding observance was held with this separation.

Approximately 100 guests attended the event, which maintained strict privacy measures, including a request for guests to deposit their mobile phones upon entry. The guests traveled by private flight to Milan on Tuesday morning and then proceeded to Portofino, where a welcome party was held in the evening.
