Students Accused in Murder Case Barred From Petah Tikva Schools
Petah Tikva municipality announced that two students accused in the murder of Yeman Zalka will not be allowed to return to high schools in the city. This decision follows threats from parents who stated they would not send their children to school on Monday, the start of the academic year, if the accused students were present.
One of the leading figures in the protest against the accused students, Aner Daskal, whose son is entering the 10th grade, praised the municipality's decision. He stated, "There is a sharp and clear ethical and moral statement here, that the place for such children is not among normal children and in regular institutions."
The municipality's move aims to de-escalate the situation and address the concerns of parents regarding the safety and well-being of their children in the school environment.
