Moshe Feiglin Confident His Zehut Party Will Pass Threshold, Aims to Be Next Defense Minister

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, firmly stated in a recent interview on the Knesset Channel's "Central Arena" program that he has no intention of withdrawing from the upcoming elections despite some public polls suggesting his party might not pass the electoral threshold. Feiglin criticized the mainstream political landscape in Israel and emphasized that internal and in-depth polls conducted by his team show Zehut comfortably surpassing the threshold, contrary to the public surveys. He argued that a significant segment of the electorate seeking a distinct identity and freedom alternative is not reflected in regular polls.

Feiglin also rejected suggestions that running independently could harm the right-wing camp, stating he would refuse any offer to run jointly with other parties. He sharply criticized both the left and the current right-wing leadership, describing the left as blindly heading toward disaster and the right as blindly following without a real alternative. When asked about his personal ambitions, Feiglin declared his goal to become Israel's next defense minister, aiming to lead the security system and change the strategic approach to national defense.
