Tel Aviv's HaShalom Train Station to Close Northern Access to Platform 1 for Escalator Installation
Starting Tuesday evening, the northern entrance to Platform 1 at Tel Aviv's HaShalom train station will be closed due to the installation of new escalators. These works are expected to continue until June 29. The railway authorities clarified that train stops to northern destinations at the station will not be canceled. Access to Platform 1 will remain available through the southern passenger hall. This construction follows the complete shutdown of the northern escalators about six months ago, which had suffered from complex malfunctions and ongoing wear for approximately two months prior.
