Israeli Settlers Set Fire to Buildings Near South Hebron Hills, Five Palestinians Injured

Palestinians reported on Wednesday that Israeli settlers set fire to several buildings in Khirbet Tuba, located in the Masafer Yatta area of the southern Hebron Hills. Additionally, settlers were seen roaming among residents' homes in the Hallet al-Homs area south of Yatta, where they clashed with local families. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that five Palestinians were injured during these incidents.

Earlier, on the night between Monday and Tuesday, Palestinians reported settler violence south of Nablus, where three vehicles were set ablaze between the villages of Jalud and Talfit, and residents' homes were attacked. Palestinians claimed they prevented an attempt to set fire to a building. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that troops were deployed to the Jalud area in the Samaria Division following reports of Israeli civilians arriving near the village and setting Palestinian vehicles on fire. The IDF said forces worked to restore order and conducted searches for suspects but found no evidence.

Simultaneously with the fires in Masafer Yatta, damage was reported to part of the electricity network in the Palestinian town of Madama, south of Nablus. Video footage showed Palestinians attempting to extinguish a burning vehicle. Graffiti was also sprayed on one building in the area, addressing Central Command Chief Aviv Kochavi with the message: "Revenge, Aviv go home."
