Iranian FM Calls on UN to Condemn US Economic 'Terrorism' in Letter

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reportedly sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the Security Council president, and UN member states outlining Iran's stance on what it terms the "economic terrorism" actions of the United States. According to the report, Araghchi emphasized the legal and moral responsibility of the United Nations and all governments to condemn what he described as the illegal and criminal measures taken by the US administration.
