Moshe Feiglin Offers to Be No. 2 to Ofer Winter in Right-Wing Bloc Talks

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, revealed in an interview with C14 that he is willing to serve as the second-in-command to Ofer Winter if they unite their right-wing factions. Feiglin praised Winter as an excellent candidate but noted he has yet to see Winter's political platform. He expressed openness to a technical bloc with any right-wing party, emphasizing that ego should not hinder such alliances.

Feiglin confirmed past contacts with Winter but said current communication is limited, as Winter has distanced himself from other candidates. Despite Zehut's previous failure to enter the Knesset in 2019 by a narrow margin, Feiglin is confident the party is now more relevant and necessary for Israel's future. He firmly rejected the idea of withdrawing even if polls predict poor results, citing his commitment to the voters and the right-wing cause.

Criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sharply, Feiglin accused him of strategic failures in security and diplomacy, calling the current government’s missed opportunity to reverse the Oslo Accords and regain control over Gaza "a great failure." He dismissed Netanyahu's attacks on him as a mistake that previously led to unnecessary election rounds. Feiglin also ruled out joining a left-wing coalition and stressed the need for new leadership emerging from the Israeli right.

When asked about potential cooperation with other right-wing figures, Feiglin neither confirmed nor denied ongoing talks but reiterated his willingness to unite right-wing forces. He also rejected the idea of joining a unity government with former Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, emphasizing Zehut’s right-wing stance. Feiglin highlighted the party’s solid base, which polling experts find surprisingly resilient, estimating it could secure three to five Knesset seats under favorable conditions.
