Israeli Public Broadcaster Kan 11 Wins Prestigious Dalia Sigan Radio Excellence Award

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation's podcast "One Song" won first place in the Dalia Sigan Radio Excellence Award. The winning episode, created by Maya Kosover and Nir Gurli, focused on the "Song of Friendship" and aired in November 2025 to mark 30 years since the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. The judging panel praised the episode for its deep investigative approach combined with compelling presentation, awarding the creators 15,000 shekels.

In the independent creation category, Reut Shoker won 5,000 shekels for her podcast "Confused," which documents single life and the search for love. Additionally, three other podcasts received honorable mentions: "Tippex: Life in Lafa" and "How to Do Things" by Shir Reuven, both from Kan Podcasts, and the independent podcast "The Right Song."

This award ceremony marked the third year the Sigan family has presented the prize in memory of Dalia Sigan. Lilach Sigan expressed confidence that her mother would be proud of the committee's selections, emphasizing the power of quality audio content to transport listeners into different, touching, and rich realities. Ido Tamari, acting deputy director of radio at Kan, congratulated the winners and highlighted the award as a symbol of the pinnacle of radio creativity in public broadcasting, thanking the Sigan family for their collaboration.
