Kedumim Invests Over 3 Million Shekels in Education Ahead of New School Year

The Kedumim local council has invested more than 3 million shekels in educational infrastructure and renovations across all its institutions ahead of the new school year. The Talmud Torah "Yesodet Oz," serving around 130 students, received two new buildings costing nearly one million shekels, following extensive negotiations with the Ministry of Education and other authorities. These new facilities will accommodate middle school students in grades 7 and 8 and are set to open shortly.

Additionally, the Amit Lehava Ulpana, educating hundreds of girls from Kedumim and the Samaria region, underwent major renovations and environmental improvements totaling over 1.5 million shekels. Other schools, including Nachshon Boys and Nachshon Girls schools with approximately 250 and 300 students respectively, as well as kindergartens and daycare centers serving about 350 children, received significant maintenance, gardening, and cleaning upgrades.

This investment coincides with Kedumim's recently announced personal education reform, which includes opening two new kindergartens aimed at creating smaller, more personalized learning environments for young children. Council head Ozal Vatik emphasized that this substantial funding reflects the council's commitment to "excellent education," supporting teachers and staff to fulfill the vital mission of educating Kedumim's youth.
