Nova Heaven Returns to Burning Man with New Memorial Installation and Star-Studded Lineup

The Nova Heaven project is returning for its third year to the Burning Man festival in Nevada's desert, commemorating the victims of the October 7 Nova Festival massacre. This year’s installation will feature 18 illuminated triangles engraved with the names of 413 victims, alongside six larger triangles projecting beams of light skyward. The structure is inspired by the "Warrior of Light" symbol, linked to the original Nova Festival.

Alongside the memorial, Nova Heaven will host four nights of music featuring prominent international electronic artists and a strong lineup of Israeli performers. Headlining the event is Brazilian DJ Vintage Culture, who will perform a back-to-back set with Israeli DJ Omri Dot. Brazilian DJ Anna, who initially supported Palestine in the early stages of the conflict but later changed her stance and collaborates with Israeli DJ Freedom Fighters (Shahaf Efrat), will also perform. Other notable international acts include Max Styler, a leading figure in indie dance and tech-house, and American DJ LP Giobbi.

Burning Man 2026 will take place from August 30 to September 7 under the theme "Axis Mundi" (Center of the World). The festival creates a temporary city called Black Rock City in the Nevada desert, attracting tens of thousands of participants worldwide. Unlike traditional music festivals, Burning Man has no central stage or official lineup; instead, participants, camps, and art cars create the installations, parties, performances, and communal spaces.

Nova Heaven’s return aims to transform memory into a space of connection, healing, and hope through art and music, continuing its tribute to those lost in the tragic events surrounding the Nova Festival.
