US Offers Up to $10 Million for Information on Iran's Revolutionary Guards Leaders

The United States has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information on senior figures within Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The list of targeted individuals includes Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, along with other high-ranking officials such as Ali Asgar Hejazi, deputy head of the Supreme Leader's office; Yahya Rahim Safavi, military and security advisor; Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni; Ahmad Vahidi, IRGC commander; Ali Abdollahi, head of Khatam al-Anbiya; and Majid Hadami, head of the IRGC intelligence office. The US State Department's Rewards for Justice program issued the call, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward, offering relocation and financial incentives.

The announcement was accompanied by photos of some of the leadership figures and emphasized the IRGC's central role in Iran's military and terrorist activities. According to the US, the IRGC, part of Iran's official military since its establishment in 1979, has been instrumental in executing Iran's foreign policy and supporting terrorist groups. The IRGC has been linked to numerous attacks against Americans and US facilities, including those resulting in American civilian deaths. The US designated the IRGC and its Quds Force as foreign terrorist organizations in 2019, with the Treasury Department labeling them a specially designated global terrorist entity in 2017 due to their activities.
