Hapoel Tel Aviv Withdraws from Gurfinkel Transfer Deal with Larnaca
Hapoel Tel Aviv has officially informed both AEK Larnaca and player Yahav Gurfinkel's representatives that it will not proceed with signing the left-back for a second stint at the club. The announcement came on Tuesday amid the club's preparations for their upcoming Conference League playoff match against Atalanta, following a goalless draw in Italy. Hapoel Tel Aviv had been seeking to strengthen their left-back position, as they currently lack a true replacement for Doron Leidner. Gurfinkel, who currently plays for AEK Larnaca, was linked to the club as a potential reinforcement, but the negotiations have now been halted. Meanwhile, Hapoel is also dealing with an offer from Lecce for player Stav Turyel as they aim to finalize their squad promptly.
