Democratic Party Leader Yair Golan Condemns MK Tzvi Sukkot for Vandalizing Palestinian Monument

Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, strongly condemned footage showing Knesset member Tzvi Sukkot destroying a monument in a Palestinian village. Golan stated that Sukkot is a person who "should be behind bars, not in the Israeli Knesset." He further accused Sukkot of causing the Israel Defense Forces to deploy to the West Bank on the eve of October 7 instead of remaining in the south, and of breaking into IDF bases. Golan criticized Sukkot for attempting to "ignite more fire and more war" with his actions.
