Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Launches Free Real-Time Trading Data App for Public
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is introducing a new app that will provide the public with free, real-time access to trading data for all stocks listed on the exchange. This marks a significant shift from the previous system, where only paying subscribers to trading platforms like Terminal or Trade One could view live data, while others had to rely on delayed information lagging by 15 minutes from financial websites.
The move comes amid a surge in activity by retail investors and a sharp increase in trading volumes over the past two years. The app will also offer direct access to institutional, foreign, and private investor activity data, previously available only to paying professional users. Additionally, users can receive selected company reports from the TASE's Maya disclosure website, track options and futures activity, and view bond data such as duration and yield to maturity.
TASE will integrate artificial intelligence through Bridgewise’s system to provide stock recommendations and will offer automatic English translations of Maya reports to assist foreign and English-speaking investors. Itai Ben-Zeev, CEO of the TASE, described the app launch as a "significant milestone" in the exchange's commitment to transparency and accessibility, emphasizing that real-time data is essential for an advanced and efficient capital market.
The app aims to empower all investors with advanced analytical tools and timely information, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions and respond swiftly to market developments. This initiative reflects the TASE’s broader goal of democratizing access to financial data and deepening market transparency for the general public.
