Israeli Security Forces Uncover Drug Smuggling in Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Israeli security officials discovered illegal drugs hidden inside food packages during the unloading of humanitarian aid shipments in the Gaza Strip. The Central Kitchen Worldwide (WCK) organization, which operates kitchens in Gaza, found six packages of hashish weighing approximately 600 grams concealed within canned pepper products, alongside about 160 grams of other prohibited substances. The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) condemned the serious drug smuggling attempt, emphasizing that Hamas exploits humanitarian aid for its own purposes. COGAT stated on its official Twitter account that the incident highlights Hamas's willingness to misuse humanitarian assistance and affirmed its commitment to working with relevant agencies to prevent such abuses in the future.
