BATM Reports Revenue and Profit Growth After Strategic Investment by Haim Dor
BATM, a communications and cybersecurity company traded in Tel Aviv and London, reported a 5% revenue increase to $41.7 million in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period last year, excluding divested activities. These are the first financial results following a strategic deal in which BATM sold three of its four non-core businesses and welcomed Haim Dor as an investor holding 22% of the company’s shares. Gross profit reached $14.6 million, representing 34.9% of revenues, while adjusted EBITDA rose by approximately 29% to $2.2 million, up from $1.7 million in H1 2025. Cash and short-term investments stood at $22.5 million at the end of June, slightly down from $23.4 million at the end of 2025.
BATM Networks division saw a 20% revenue increase to $8 million, driven mainly by higher sales of Carrier Ethernet products. The company secured an initial $500,000 order from a new client among the top ten US cable and broadband companies. After the reporting period, BATM signed a three-year service agreement worth about $1.3 million with a major American cable and broadband operator. Conversely, BATM Cyber revenues declined to approximately $4.8 million from $5.1 million, attributed to payment timing issues with a longstanding customer. The company also advanced its tactical encryption solution development, receiving a subsequent order, and developed a post-quantum virtual encryption solution for the commercial market. Additionally, BATM was selected as a cybersecurity partner by FPT Israel.
The transaction involving the sale of non-core activities and Haim Dor’s investment totaled around $36.6 million in cash, with $13.3 million for the sold businesses and $23.3 million for BATM shares traded in London. The share purchase price included a 33% premium over the average closing price in the 30 trading days before the agreement. BATM is led by Chairman Gil Sharon, former Bezeq chairman and current IBC fiber company chairman, and CEO Moti Nagar. Nagar stated, "We expect to finish 2026 as a fundamentally transformed business, with greater capacity to invest in growth and create shareholder value."
