Terminal X Boosts Growth Engines with 20% Revenue Surge and Nearly Doubled Net Profit
Terminal X reported a significant increase in revenue of approximately 20%, reaching 161 million shekels, driven by rapid growth in its independently acquired brands. These brands, which include Sistarz, Strongpole, Ada Lazorgan, Inker, Ronit Yam, and recently a 51% stake in fashion brand Sade Bar, now contribute about 23% of the company's revenue, up from 16% in the same quarter last year. The gross profitability of these independent brands stands at around 69%, compared to 44% for Terminal X's core operations.
In the second quarter, Terminal X's own operations grew by about 9.5%, while revenue from the independent brands soared over 77% to approximately 37 million shekels. This strategic expansion through acquisitions has translated into strong earnings growth, with operating profit rising by roughly 59% to 18.6 million shekels and net profit nearly doubling to 13.8 million shekels. This profit growth outpaces revenue growth due to the increasing share of higher-margin activities.
The company is actively negotiating with several other firms to continue expanding its portfolio, indicating that the acquisition strategy is ongoing. Terminal X's financial results and strategic direction were detailed in investor calls, now fully transcribed and available to subscribers via Globes' new service, which aims to provide transparent access to company management insights beyond financial statements.
This development highlights Terminal X's successful approach to diversifying and strengthening its business through targeted acquisitions and operational improvements, positioning it for continued growth in the competitive market.
