MasterChef Contestant Jacky Azulay Reveals How She Kept a Nine-Month Secret from Her Ex-Husband

Jacky Azulay, a popular contestant on the Israeli cooking show MasterChef, recently shared a personal story about keeping a secret from her ex-husband for nine months. During a challenging episode requiring contestants to surprise the judges with a twist in their dish, Azulay presented dumplings filled with a nut mixture on an amaretto crème anglaise, earning praise and 36 points. She used the opportunity to reveal that she had successfully kept the birth of their daughter a secret from her ex-husband, Israel, who is also the father of their four children, for nine months until the baby's brit milah (circumcision) ceremony. Azulay explained that she managed to hide the pregnancy and birth despite already having three sons with him.

In a recent interview, Azulay mentioned that their four children, Ori, Itai, Ilai, and Elinor, are raised in a religious education system. When asked if she and her ex-husband share the same views on their children's upbringing, she said they do not discuss it, noting that the children mostly live with her, so he mainly enjoys the benefits of parenthood. Fellow MasterChef judge Michal Ansky praised Azulay, saying she had never met a woman like her.
