Israeli Journalist Calls Explosive Kites Terror Groups' 'Test Balloons' for Israel's Response
Israeli journalist Avi Mimran described the recent use of explosive kites and incendiary balloons by terror groups as "test balloons" aimed at gauging Israel's reaction following the October 7 attacks. Speaking on Channel 14's program The Patriots, Mimran said these actions are not isolated incidents but deliberate probes to see if Israel has shifted its strategic approach or continues to tolerate such threats. He emphasized that the entire Middle East, including Arab states, is closely watching Israel's response to these provocations. Mimran urged Israeli authorities to send a clear and unequivocal message to the region and the world that Israel has moved beyond previous constraints and will no longer tolerate such attacks. He stressed that the response should reflect a fundamental change in Israel's posture, not just a reaction to the kites themselves.
