IDF Soldier Kills Attacker Attempting to Seize Weapon at Rimonim Square

On Sunday, an attempted weapon snatching by a terrorist at Rimonim Square in the Binyamin Brigade area was thwarted by an IDF soldier serving in Battalion 94. The soldier quickly responded by shooting and killing the attacker, sustaining no injuries himself. Earlier the same day, a stabbing attack occurred in the village of Kafr Oja in the Jordan Valley. A 24-year-old Israeli man was stabbed multiple times near a store as he returned to his car where his wife and children were waiting. The victim was moderately injured. The assailant fled the scene, prompting an extensive IDF manhunt that expanded to the Jericho area.
