This price discrepancy exists even before factoring in additional costs such as delivery fees, operational charges, and tips.

The daily price comparison highlights five common products with notably higher prices on Wolt versus Shufersal Online: carrots cost 6.90 shekels per kilo on Wolt compared to 2.90 shekels; red peppers are 12.90 shekels versus 9.90; avocados 19.90 shekels versus 15.90; cucumbers 9.90 shekels versus 2.90; and onions 6.90 shekels versus 2.90. These figures demonstrate a systematic overcharging on essential food items through the app.

C14 emphasizes that using Wolt for quick or small grocery purchases can be costly for Israeli consumers already struggling with the high cost of living. When combined with delivery and service fees, the overall expense becomes significantly less economical.
