Israeli Border Police Arrest Two Suspects Digging Under Jerusalem Separation Barrier

On Saturday, during an operational activity by Israeli Border Police forces in the northern Jerusalem seam zone near the village of Kafr Aqab, officers identified two suspects attempting to tunnel under the separation barrier using electric digging tools. The suspects aimed to create a pedestrian passage from the West Bank into Israeli territory. Upon spotting the suspects, the Border Police entered Kafr Aqab and caught them in the act. The suspects tried to flee but were quickly located and arrested inside a nearby residential building. Authorities confiscated the tools used, including a large drill and long electric cables. Both suspects, residents of Kafr Aqab, were taken into custody for further investigation at the Border Police headquarters in the Jerusalem area.
