The story · English

A festive Hasidic wedding was held for the groom, the grandson of the Zhiditshov Be'er Sheva and Mottoshvar rebbes, and the bride, the daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Goldman. The bride is the daughter of the Zvehil rebbe and the granddaughter of Rabbi Shlomo Goldman, who is the son of Rabbi Shmuel Goldman of Zvehil, Skverer Neighborhood.

At the chuppah, the family used a distinguished antique silver cup kept in the treasures of the Zhiditshov rebbe. The cup is a hereditary family heirloom passed down through generations in the sacred Zhiditshov dynasty and is said to trace directly to earlier righteous leaders of the line.

Among family members and chassidim, the cup is regarded as a holy object with special merit and power to bring salvation. Earlier, during the welcoming reception, the rebbes and rabbis spent a long time examining the old cup and looking closely at the sacred names engraved on its sides.
