Knife-Wielding Attacker Stabs Israeli Man Near Jordan Valley Village and Flees

A stabbing attack occurred near the village of Ouja in the Jordan Valley on Sunday morning, captured on security camera footage released the same day. The video shows the assailant drawing a knife, stabbing a 24-year-old Israeli man, and immediately fleeing the scene. The victim was at a shopping complex near the village when the attack took place.

Following the incident, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and police launched a manhunt for the attacker. According to an IDF spokesperson, special forces and air units were deployed to conduct searches, and checkpoints were established around the village and surrounding areas. The IDF is maintaining ongoing communication with local residents and security officials in the region.

Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom provided initial treatment to the victim at the scene before evacuating him to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. His condition is reported as moderate, suffering from a penetrating injury. The investigation and search for the suspect are ongoing.
