Dago criticized the refereeing decisions, claiming that Ramat Gan players were harshly penalized while Maccabi Haifa received leniency. He said, "Why six minutes of VAR review? You can see the ball was touched. Then the penalty is given after a forceful review. Maccabi Haifa does not need help." He also noted that his attempts to discuss calls with the referee resulted in immediate yellow cards, and he accused the officials of showing excessive respect to Maccabi Haifa.

Despite the loss, Dago acknowledged that his team did not deserve to win or draw but praised their improved performance in the second half. Looking ahead, he emphasized the challenge of facing Hapoel Be'er Sheva next week, calling them "the best team in the country" and promising a brave effort to secure points.

Ramat Gan player Maksim Plakuschenko echoed the coach's sentiments, admitting a poor first half but a stronger second half where they controlled the game. He lamented the stoppages and expressed confidence in the team's unity and determination to succeed in upcoming matches.
