Lisav Issat Plays Full Match as Bristol City Concedes Late Equalizer Against Birmingham
Lisav Issat played his second match for Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday, completing the full 90 minutes in a frustrating 2-2 draw away at Birmingham. Bristol City twice lost the lead, conceding a last-minute equalizer in the 95th minute. The visitors initially took the lead in the 33rd minute through Scott Twine. However, ten minutes later, Bristol's goalkeeper Sam Tickell scored an own goal, leveling the score. Near the end of the match, Bristol celebrated what seemed to be a winning goal by Dominic Ballard, who scored with a backheel strike. Yet, Birmingham was awarded a penalty in the 94th minute, which Demarai Gray converted to secure the draw. This was Issat's first start as a center-back, having played left-back in his debut, and the result marked Bristol City's first point of the season after a 2-0 loss to Millwall in the previous round. Issat left the game disappointed despite his full participation.
