Ra'am Leader Mansour Abbas Calls Party a Bridge for Peace and Palestinian State Recognition
The 28th national conference of the Ra'am party convened in Tayibe with approximately 1,050 party members participating to select candidates for the upcoming Knesset elections. In his speech, Ra'am chairman Mansour Abbas addressed the party's political participation strategy, emphasizing their intent to continue influencing Israeli politics from within the system. Regarding the Palestinian state issue, Abbas stated that Arab citizens of Israel serve as a bridge to achieving peace. He affirmed that the State of Palestine exists and is recognized by most of the world except the United States and Israel. Abbas expressed the party's goal for these two countries to also recognize Palestine and highlighted their efforts toward peace, reconciliation, and ending occupation and conflict.
