Israeli Drone Strikes Vehicle Near Damascus, Injuring One

Reports from Syria indicate that an Israeli drone attacked a vehicle in the southwestern suburbs of Damascus, near Beit Jinn, injuring one person. The attack was reported by Al Jazeera and social media sources earlier today. This incident follows a series of four airstrikes last Tuesday targeting the runway at the Abu al-Duhur military airport in eastern Idlib province, northwestern Syria. The strikes caused damage to the runway but resulted in no casualties.

Local sources told Arab television that a Turkish military delegation recently visited the Abu al-Duhur base, which had been out of operation for about ten years due to surrounding conflicts. The visit aimed to assist in restoration efforts, although details on the timing, extent of Turkish aid, or whether repair work has begun remain unclear. Following the recent drone strike, Turkey accused Israel of violating international law.
