Hapoel Tel Aviv's Borislav Maladanov Shines in Preseason Game Against Angola

Borislav Maladanov, a Bulgarian basketball player signed by Hapoel Tel Aviv a year ago, delivered an impressive performance in a recent preseason match against Angola. Although officially part of Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maladanov was loaned to Vienna in Austria immediately after signing, where he played in the Adriatic League. During his time with Levski Sofia before joining Hapoel, he averaged 20.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. In the Austrian league, he posted averages of 17.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists.

In the friendly game against Angola, Maladanov was the leading scorer for his team with 16 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals, although Angola won 82-75. Earlier, in a match against Norway, he scored 15 points, second only to Sasha Vezankov, contributing to a decisive 88-57 victory. Maladanov’s performances highlight his growing impact as he prepares to contribute to Hapoel Tel Aviv’s upcoming season.
