Shas Leader Aryeh Deri Accuses Internal Opponents of Undermining Right-Wing Bloc

Aryeh Deri, chairman of the Shas party, launched the party's election campaign with sharp accusations against certain elements within the ultra-Orthodox community. Speaking at the campaign kickoff event, Deri claimed that these internal actors are collaborating with left-wing forces to harm the right-wing political bloc. He stated that over the past two years, left-wing groups have invested significant funds to suppress voter turnout for ultra-Orthodox parties and weaken the right-wing alliance.

Deri emphasized that these efforts are disguised under ultra-Orthodox slogans and appearances, but the funding behind them originates from left-wing sources. He warned that this campaign aims to destroy the ultra-Orthodox community from within and damage its educational institutions. Deri concluded by urging his community not to fall into the trap set by these internal adversaries.
