Young Woman Suffers Moderate Burns from Pressure Cooker Explosion in Beitar Illit
A 27-year-old woman was moderately injured on Thursday evening after being burned by a pressure cooker at her home in Beitar Illit. Medical teams from United Hatzalah arrived at the scene to provide initial treatment before she was transported to the hospital. Paramedics Dudi Avraham and Aryeh Dubaavik from United Hatzalah's Koach Hatzalah unit reported that the woman’s family said she was injured while opening the pressure cooker. She sustained burns to her limbs and upper body. The paramedics administered medical care on site and then evacuated her by ambulance, with her condition classified as moderate. Following the incident, United Hatzalah urged the public to exercise extra caution when using pressure cookers, to strictly follow safety instructions, and to ensure the cooker is in proper working order to prevent burns and injuries.
