Additionally, about six months ago, News 12 mistakenly reported the death of an innocent Israeli woman, Noya Zion, in Iranian protests, a false claim that was exploited by Iranian propaganda to accuse Israel of disinformation. Finish shared the screenshot of the conversation on his Instagram account, highlighting the insensitivity and lack of fact-checking by the news outlet. The channel has not publicly responded to the latest mistake.
