Moshe Redman Strongly Condemns Netanyahu Amid Rumors of Moshe Kahlon Returning to Likud
Moshe Redman sharply criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and warned former Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon against rejoining the Likud party through a reserved spot on its Knesset list. Redman referred to reports suggesting Kahlon is considering a return to Likud, calling Netanyahu a "fraud and liar" attempting to present the party as renewed. He expressed hope that Kahlon would not join, saying Kahlon "will not forgive himself until his last days" if he aligns with such a "treacherous" faction.
Redman also attacked the current government coalition, highlighting failures including the October 7 attacks, the neglect of hostages, the security situation in northern Israel, and deepening social divisions. He condemned the politicization of the security system, attempts to undermine democracy, and the trivialization of serious issues for political gain. Redman stated that even adding new public figures to Likud's list would not change the party's negative image, asserting that "not even a reserved spot for Mother Teresa will help."
He concluded by labeling Netanyahu and senior officials as entirely disqualified due to their role in what he called a "historic crime against the people of Israel" in recent years, emphasizing that no newcomer can alter this judgment. The criticism reflects ongoing tensions within Israeli politics amid speculation about Likud's candidate list ahead of upcoming elections.
