Haredi Economic Summit Kicks Off in Jerusalem with Expert Panels and Public Honors

The annual economic conference organized by the Haredi organization 'Tebuna' opens today at the Binyanei HaUma convention center in Jerusalem. The event, scheduled for seven intensive hours, aims to address the challenges and opportunities within the Haredi economy through expert discussions, practical tools, and in-depth knowledge sharing.

Starting at 3:00 PM in the Teddy Lounge, the conference features an economic exhibition, multimedia displays on financial life cycles, networking spaces, an open studio for interviews hosted by Ze'ev Aren, and a performance by mentalist Meni Hollander. The main plenary session at 4:00 PM will begin with a speech by Tebuna CEO Shlomi Perush, followed by the "Economic Switch" panel moderated by Moshe Glesner. This session includes one-on-one interviews with key government figures such as Israel Ozen, CEO of the Ministry of Interior; Shimi Elboim, CEO of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage; and Safi Zinger, Chairman of the Israel Securities Authority. Also participating are Benny Dreyfus, CEO of Mifal HaPais, and Beit Shemesh Mayor Shmuel Greenberg.

At 5:10 PM, the "Managing Finances Without Mistakes" session, led by Yaakov Waldman, will focus on reducing economic disparities and protecting against financial fraud, featuring Abraham Zupnik, Simy Spotler, and Aharon Gafni. Following Mincha prayer, at 6:45 PM, the plenary will honor public emissaries, fund managers, and coaches with an exclusive broadcast of blessings from leading rabbis and speeches by MK Rabbi Meir Porush and Yossele Mintzberg. The evening's main event, "Marriage Gates," moderated by Israel Edelman and Yossi Oster, will debate various models for financing children's weddings.
