Hapoel Hadera Hosts Special Football Event for Yoseftal Neighborhood Children

On August 20, 2026, a special event was held for children from the Yoseftal neighborhood in Hadera at the Hapoel Hadera training complex. The event was part of the "Football Academy" initiative by the Hadera Development Fund. The children met with Manshe Zalaka, a player who himself grew up in Yoseftal, and participated in a professional training session on the pitch. Each child received a set of uniforms and a football as a gift.

This event coincided with the recent acquisition of Hapoel Hadera by new owner Itay Ben Ze'ev and the club's new partnership with Benfica Lisbon. The occasion highlighted how the club's changes are positively impacting the local community and youth activities in the city.
