Ahmad Tibi Mocks Trump After Iran-U.S. Deal Announcement

MK Ahmad Tibi commented Monday morning on the Iran-U.S. agreement and jabbed at President Donald Trump, saying, “Trump’s greatest achievement is opening the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before the war.” The remark came after Trump said the deal with Iran had been finalized and sent “congratulations to everyone” over the return of free navigation through the strait.

Trump had posted the announcement on his Truth Social account, celebrating the accord between the sides and congratulating the world and the global oil industry. In his words, “The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to everyone! I hereby fully confirm the free opening of the Strait of Hormuz.”

The American president also said the U.S. maritime blockade on Iran would be lifted immediately. “At the same time, I hereby confirm the lifting of the United States’ naval blockade immediately. World ships, start your engines. Let the oil flow,” he wrote.
