CUNY Agrees to Disclose Contracts with Companies Operating in Israel After Lawsuit

The City University of New York (CUNY) has agreed to reveal documents detailing its investments and contracts with 30 companies operating in Israel, including Lockheed Martin and Dell. This decision follows a settlement reached in a New York state court after a lawsuit filed by the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU). Initially, CUNY refused to provide the information, citing trade secrets. Under the settlement, the university will disclose reports on its stock and bond holdings dating back to 2020, withdraw its appeal, and pay $20,000 in legal fees.
