IDF Strikes Two Hamas Commanders in Gaza Within 30 Minutes
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out two targeted strikes against Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, hitting two different locations within less than half an hour. The first strike targeted a Hamas military wing department commander in the central Gaza area of Nuseirat, who was involved in the October 7 attack on Israeli territory. Shortly afterward, the IDF and Shin Bet conducted a second strike in the Deir al-Balah area against another Hamas commander and several militants operating alongside him. According to the IDF, the militants targeted in these operations were planning imminent terrorist attacks against IDF forces active in Gaza. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with existing agreements and will continue to act to neutralize any immediate threats.
