Nicolo Zaniolo Could Replace Israeli Oscar Gloukh at Ajax This Summer

Dutch media report that Ajax may sell Israeli midfielder Oscar Gloukh during the current transfer window. Dutch journalist Benjamin Hagen stated that significant changes are expected at Ajax this summer, including the possible departure of Gloukh. Should Gloukh leave, Nicolo Zaniolo, the 27-year-old Italian midfielder currently at Udinese, is highly sought after by Ajax as a potential replacement. Zaniolo, who has 19 caps for Italy, joined Udinese in 2025 after struggling with injuries and is working to revive his career. Meanwhile, Deportivo La Coruña from Spain has expressed interest in signing Gloukh following their promotion to La Liga. Dutch commentator Bart Sanders also noted that Gloukh’s exit would provide Ajax with greater flexibility to pursue other transfers this summer.
